ABOUT MELISSA: WEDDING & LIFESTYLE MATERNITY & NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER
For me, photography is never just about a simple photograph. Photography is story telling. The story of your life. As a photographer, I feel honored to admire the love, happiness, family, and joy in your memories. From the first days of a beautiful, new, miraculous life, to the milestones and little moments shared between family members, to the unfolding of a day where two families become one, as a photographer, my breath is taken away on a daily basis. My days are spent daydreaming, on the hunt for new inspiration, and finding the beauty in everything around us.
I am the mother of two amazing little girls and happily married to the love of my life. I was born in the Florida Keys and spent my childhood exploring the East Coast while my father served in the Coast Guard. After attending the University of Connecticut, I found that it took 624 miles of relocation to find my true love and best friend. When I'm not taking on the craziness of my truly fulfilling role as photographer, you will most likely find me making memories with my husband and our girls, wrangling two Great Danes, practicing calligraphy, or studying for my Masters in Nutrition.
WORKING WITH MELISSA
I work on location, which guarantees that your sessions are just as unique as you! I dedicate myself to superior customer service, strive to create genuine friendships with my clients (because what's more personal than photography?), and assure you that I will work with you every step of the way. My job is to tell your story and incorporate elements that highlight what means the most to you. From props to family heirlooms, or simply you in your element, I love creating images that reflect who you are and what makes your life truly wonderful.
After your session is finished, I spend time choosing the best images, edit them, and provide you with an online gallery of your photos. Having your photos professionally printed and canvassed is truly important! Prints can be ordered through your gallery or directly through me for albums and more artistic prints. Because we live in such a digital world, photographs are often left unprinted, diminishing the physical evidence of our most precious memories.
